South Burnett Mountain Bike Club- SBMTB

Wow another big weekend. This is a very busy month for our little club. Whether is be organising beginners clinics, rail trail rides, social rides on the trails or hammering around the trails at Bayview for the National Championships our club is there giving its all. Once again some great results from our junior club members (see Facebook for details as there are many). There were a number of podium finishes as well as some great achievements on what is a very taxing circuit

It was very encouraging to see a small but committed crew turn up early on a Sunday morning to help with some general trail maintenance and a rubbish clean up through the forestry. Two groups managed to tidy up three trails over the morning with one of our Link Trails, The Gully Track and Rubarco getting a rake and tidy up. While these groups were hard at work our intrepid rubbish crew drove and walked up the main fire road, picking up rubbish as they went. It is amazing how
